OUTBOARD AILERON ELECTRIC LOCKOUT ACTUATOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
_________________________________________________________________
1. General_______
A. There are two tasks in this procedure. There is one task for the removal and one task for the installation of the electric lockout actuator of the outboard aileron to the lockout mechanism housing. The procedure has these parts:
(1)
The removal of the electric lockout actuator
(2)
The installation of the electric lockout actuator
(3)
The operational check of the electric lockout actuator.
B.
It is not necessary to remove the lockout mechanism from the airplane before you remove and install the actuator.
C.
The electric actuator is on top of the lockout mechanism. The access panel is at the bottom of the wing. The actuator has two positions, retract and extend, control led by internal limit switches. When the actuator is in the fully retracted position, the mechanism is in its adjusted position.
