(1)
Install the filter (Fig. 201):
(a)
Lubricate the backup rings (25, 27, 30, 32, 33, and 35), O-ring packings (26, 31, and 34) and threads of fittings with assembly lubricant or hydraulic fluid before installation.
(b)
Install the new backup rings (25 and 27) and O-ring packing (26) in the internal grooves of the filter.

Install the filter (28) and adapter (24) as a unit with the backup rings (33 and 35) and O-ring packing (34) into the power control package (1).
(d)
Install the filter housing (29) with backup rings (30 and 32) and O-ring packing (31).
(e)
Tighten the filter housing to 50-75 pound-inches.
(f)
Install the lockwire.

For the applicable system, remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
(a)
P180 DC Power Distribution Panel
1) 180H7 LATERAL CONT VALV SYS 1
2) 180E6 LATERAL CONT VALV SYS 2
