Remove the power from hydraulic systems No. 1 and 2
(AMM 29-11-00/201).

Find the switches for the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER on the Pilot's Overhead Maintenance Panel, P461.
(a)
Put all the TAIL switches in the SHUTOFF position.

P7, Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel

P180, DC Power Distribution Panel
1) 180E7, ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 2
2) 180E22, ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 4
3) 180H8, ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 1
4) 180H23, ELEV/RUD VLV SYS 3

Remove the access panel 324FR or 324FL (AMM 06-09-07/201).

Install rig pin R-4 in the feel, centering, and trim mechanism.

Remove the Rudder Trim Actuator

(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector, DM7878, from the rudder trim actuator.

(2)
Remove these components:
(a)
The bonding jumper (4) at the rudder trim actuator (2).
(b)
The bolt (15) that connects the trim actuator to the feel, centering, and trim mechanism.
(c)
The bolt (10) that connects the actuator to the airplane structure.
(3)
Remove the rudder trim actuator (2).
