Turn the end of the flexshaft until it engages the pin in the jackshaft.

Do these steps to connect the pushrods for the rudder pedals to the rudder forward quadrant:
(a)
Adjust the rudder pedals to their center position.
NOTE: You can do these steps to find the center position for

the rudder pedals:
-Use the adjustment crank to move the rudder pedals to their fully aft position.
-Move the rudder pedals to the fully forward position and count the number of times you turn the adjustment crank.
-Turn the adjustment crank back half the number of turns.
NOTE:THE TEMPERATURE OF THE AIRPLANE MUST BE |5`F OF THE AMBIENT TEMPERATURE AND MUST BE STABLE FOR AT LEAST 1 HOUR.

(b) Connect the pushrods to the rudder forward quadrant with the bolts, washers, and nuts.
NOTE: If the pushrods are not the correct length for you to install them, do the steps that follow to adjust them.
1) If it is necessary, do these steps to adjust the pushrods: a) Loosen the locknut for the aft rod end. b) Turn the pushrod until the forward rod end aligns with
its hole in the rudder forward quadrant. c) Make sure you can see the threads of the aft rod end through the inspection holes in the pushrod. d) Tighten the locknut.
