 (9)  Do these steps to install the power control package (PCP) for the lower rudder.
 (a) (b) (c) (d) (e) (f) (g) (h) (i) (j)  Make sure the bolt assembly (24) has all of these parts: housing assembly (19), cap (18), washers (17), cap screws (16), and lockwire on the cap screws.Do these steps to install the bushings (12, 21) on the bolt assemblies (9, 24). 1) Apply adhesive to the bushings (12, 21). 2) Push the bushings (12, 21) against the heads of the bolts with a minimum force of 70 pounds.Apply a thin layer of grease to the bolt assemblies (9, 24).Align the actuators with their attachment fittings.Install the bolt assembly (24) in the lower actuator.Make sure the bolt assembly (24) engages the antirotation stop (20).Install the summing lever support (15).Install the washers (30, 28), and the bolts (31, 29) in the summing lever support.Install the washers (26), and the collar (25).Tighten the bolt (31).

 (k)  
Install the washer (22) and the nut (23) on the bolt assembly (24). Tighten the nut to 1100-1200 pound-inches more than the run-on torque.

 (l)  
Install the bolt assembly (9) in the upper actuator.

 (m)  
Make sure the bolt assembly (9) engages the antirotation stop (10).

 (n)  
Install the washer (13) and the nut (14) on the bolt assembly (9). Tighten the nut to 1100-1200 pound-inches more than the run-on torque.

 Do this step to connect the control rod of the position transmitter to the front spar of the rudder:

 (a)  
Install the bolt (32), the washer (33), and the nut (34).
