 (a)  Attach the cables AA and AB to the quadrant.

 (b)  
Install the cotter pins.

 (c)  
Connect the cables (11 and 13) at the turnbuckles (12).

 (d)  
Tighten the cables to a specified range (Fig. 402).

 (e)  
Remove the clamps on each of the left wing cable AA (11) and AB (13) pulley and bracket in the wheel well.

 (f)  
Adjust the cable tension until you can easily install rig pins A/S-2, A/S-6, A/S-7 and A/S-8.

 (g)  
Install the turnbuckle clip locks.

 (h)  
Remove all the rig pins.

 (i)  
Remove the straightedge from the aileron control wheels.

 (j)  
Install the protractor and the adapter on the control wheel.

 (k)  
Move the control wheel to the neutral position.

 (l)  
Set the protractor to zero.

 (m)  
Turn the control wheel 58-degrees clockwise.

 (n)  
Measure the distance from the inboard trailing edge (TE) of the inboard aileron to the outboard TE of the inboard flap. 1) Make sure the right aileron distance is 20.66 to 22.86

 inches (19 to 21 degrees) up from the neutral position. 2) Make sure the left aileron distance is 20.66 to 22.86 inches (19 to 21 degrees) down from the neutral position.

 (o)  
Turn the control wheel 58 degrees counterclockwise.

 (p)  
Measure the distance from the inboard trailing edge (TE) of the inboard aileron to the outboard TE of the inboard flap. 1) Make sure the left aileron distance is 20.66 to 22.86

 inches (19 to 21 degrees) up from the neutral position. 2) Make sure the right aileron distance is 20.66 to 22.86 inches (19 to 21 dgrees) down from the neutral position.

 (q)  
Remove the protractor and the adapter from the control wheel.

 E.
Put the Airplane Back To Its Usual Condition

 OUTBOARD AILERON POWER PACKAGE SUPPORT LINKAGE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General_______
 A.  There are two tasks in this procedure. The first task is the removal and the second task is the installation of the support linkage of the outboard aileron power control package. The procedure has these parts:
 (1)  
The removal of the power control package

 (2)  
The removal of the support linkage

 (3)  
The installation of the support linkage

 B.  
The support linkage of the outboard aileron power control package is one of two units that make up the power control package installation.
