If there is leakage of the fluid, identify the fluid and clean the area (Ref 12-25-01/301).

Remove the hydraulic fuse from the airplane.

MAKE SURE YOU FULLY CLEAN ALL HYDRAULIC FLUID LEAKAGE. HYDRAULIC FLUID CAN CAUSE CORROSION.
(4) Install the caps on the hydraulic tubes.

Make sure the ends of the hydraulic tubes are clean and serviceable.

Remove the caps from the hydraulic tubes.

Apply the assembly lube to the threads of the hydraulic fittings.

Install the hydraulic fuse:
(a)
Put the hydraulic fuse in its position between the hydraulic tubes.
(b)
Tighten the two nuts to connect the hydraulic fuse to the hydraulic tubes.

Install the support clamps on the hydraulic tubes.

Close the access door 312A.

Fill the hydraulic reservoirs if it is necessary (Ref 12-12-01/301).

WARNING:_______MAKE SURE THE NOSE WHEELS POINT FORWARD. IF THE NOSE WHEELS DO NOT POINT FORWARD, THE NOSE GEAR CAN QUICKLY TURN TO THE CENTERED POSITION WHEN YOU REMOVE THE TOW PIN. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
