(b)
Remove the bolt at each end to remove the lower strut assembly (2).
(c)
Remove the nut (and the torque drive linkage if necessary) that holds torque drive linkage (5) to the control rod at the end next to actuator link (3) to remove the special bolt (6) from the forward end of actuator link (AMM 27-11-13/201).
(d)
Remove the bolts at each end to remove the actuator link (3 and 4).
(e)
Use a reaction link wrench and a 1-inch square drive wrench to hold the bolt.
(f)
Turn the nut (5) with a spanner wrench while you hold the bolt.

(3) Install the outboard aileron lock.
