Install the rig pin R-3 in the rudder pedal assembly.

Remove the feel, centering and trim mechanism (4):
(a)
Loosen the nuts (24) on the eyebolts (21) until there is no tension on the springs (16) and (17).
(b)
Remove the bolt (40), washers (41, 42 and 43) and nut (44) to disconnect the rudder trim actuator (2) from the crank assembly (3).
(c)
Remove the bolt (18), washer (19) and nut to disconnect the control rod (1) from the output crank (28).
(d)
Remove the bolt (18), washer (19) and nut to disconnect the control rod (25) from the output crank (28).
(e)
Remove the bolt (10) washers (11 and 13) and nuts (12 and 14) to disconnect the output control rod (15) from the output crank (28).
(f)
Disconnect the input control rod (6) from the rudder aft quadrant (5).
(g)
Remove the inner nut (38) and the outer nut (37) from the shaft that holds the crank assembly (3) to the support structure.
(h)
Hold the feel, centering and trim mechanism (4) and remove the bolt (30).
