HYDRAULIC SHUTOFF WING VALVE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first task is the removal of the hydraulic shutoff wing valve. The second task is the installation of the hydraulic shutoff wing valve.
B. There are four hydraulic shutoff wing valves in the aileron and spoiler systems. You can use this procedure to install or remove one or all of these valves.

If you replace system No. 2 or 3 shutoff wing valves, get access to the rear spar through the opening of the wing gear wheel well.

If you replace system No. 1 or 4 shutoff wing valves, remove the outboard aileron access panel 591BB (left) or 691BB (right) (Ref 06-09-08/201).

Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).
(4)
Release the pressure from the hydraulic system (Ref 29-11-00/201).
