Disconnect the hydraulic lines (8) and cap lines and ports.
(b)
Remove the mounting bolts (9).
(c)
Remove the valve (3) from the airplane.

Install the Hydraulic Shutoff Wing Valve (Fig. 401)

Prepare the surface of one mounting hole for the electrical bond to the airplane structure (Ref 20-11-14/701).

Install the shutoff wing valve.
(a)
Set the shutoff wing valve on the mounting bracket.
(b)
Install the mounting bolts (9), washers (10) and nuts (11).
(c)
Lubricate the O-ring (5), packing (6 and 7) and the threads of the adapter (fittings) (4) with assembly lube or hydraulic fluid before installation.
(d)
Install the adapter (hydraulic fittings) (4).
(e)
Connect the hydraulic lines (8) to the valve (3).
