If you will install a used bolt, sleeve bushing, or bearing, make sure it is not worn too much.

Make sure the seals for the rudder are in good condition (Fig. 403).

Make sure the threaded bushings (36, 46) in hinges No. 2 and 3 are fully retracted.

Attach the sling assembly to the lower rudder.

Attach the sling assembly to the crane.
NOTE: We recommend that you use a load positioner (also called a
____ Zero G device) to let you manually move the lower rudder.
