Turn the control wheels counterclockwise to the stop.

 (e)  
Make sure the left aileron position pointers move up to or above the higher scale mark.

 (f)  
Make sure the right aileron position pointers move down to or below the lower scale mark.

 (g)  
Turn the control wheels to the neutral position.

 (h)  
Make sure that the inboard aileron position pointers move approximately to the middle marks.

 (i)  
Make sure that the outboard aileron position pointers move a small distance lower than the middle marks.

If the hydraulic power is not necessary, do this task: "Remove Hydraulic Power" (AMM 29-11-00/201).

 S 865-012
 (1)  Do this task: "Supply Electrical Power" (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE AND TE
_______ FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (2)
Do this task: "Trailing Edge Flap Retraction" (AMM 27-51-00/201).

Do this task: "Trailing Edge Flap Deactivation" (AMM 27-51-00/201).

Make sure the ailerons are in the neutral position.
