(3) Install the washer (11) and the bolt (10) (4 locations) to attach
the rudder hinge segment to the rudder. Do not tighten the bolts.

(4) Put the cover (13) in its position on the vertical fin segment.

(5) Install the bolt (9), the washer, and the nut for the vertical fin
segment (2 Locations).

(6) Apply grease to the bolt (1).

(7) Install the bushings (5), the bolt (1), the washers (2, 4), and the
nut (3).
NOTE:____ The bolts and the bushings are a larger size for hinges No. 1
and 4 than for hinges No. 5, 9, 10 and 11.

Make sure the lockwasher (7) is installed.

Tighten the nut (3) to 60-85 pound-inches.

Measure the clearance at each end of the bolt (1).
(b)
If it is necessary, change the number of washers (2) to get a clearance of 0.01-0.06 inches at each end of the bolt (1).
