HYDRAULIC SHUTOFF WING VALVE - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains a test of the hydraulic shutoff wing valve for all four hydraulic systems. Each system supplies hydraulic pressure to a different group of surfaces. These are the four hydraulic systems:
(1)
SYS 1 controls the central lateral control package (CLCP)-right autopilot, and left outboard and inboard ailerons.
(2)
SYS 2 controls the CLCP-right autopilot, left outboard aileron, right inboard aileron, and No. 2, 3, 10 and 11 spoilers.
(3)
SYS 3 controls the CLCP-left autopilot, left inboard aileron, right outboard aileron, and No. 1, 4, 9 and 12 spoilers.
(4)
SYS 4 controls the CLCP-left autopilot, right inboard and outboard aileron, and No. 5, 6, 7 and 8 spoilers.

(2) S 865-003Make sure the FLT CONTROL HYD POWER - WING VALVE switch on the P461 Pilot's Overhead Maintenance Panel is in NORM.
(3) S 715-005Make sure the VALVE CLOSED indicator light is off.

Make sure the surfaces operate smoothly through the full range of travel.
NOTE: The outboard ailerons will move only when trailing edge
____ flaps extend between the 1 degree detent and the full down position.
