Procedure

(1)
Install the check valve (fig. 201):
(a)
Lubricate the backup rings (44, 46, 51, and 53), O-ring packings (45 and 52) and screw threads with assembly lubricant or hydraulic fluid before installation.
(b)
Install new backup rings (44, 46, 51, and 53) and O-ring packings (45 and 52) on the check valves (47 and 50).
(c)
Install the check valves (47 and 50).
NOTE: The flow arrow on the check valve must point into the
____ manifold during installation.

Install the covers (41 and 48) with the washers (43 and 55) and screws (42 and 54).
(e)
Tighten the screws (54) that attach to the dual cover to 50-75 pound-inches.
(f)
Install the lockwire.
(g)
Tighten the screws (42) that attach to the cover to 60-80 pound-inches.
(h)
Install the lockwire.
