Put the end of the flexshaft in the jackshaft (21). Turn the end of the flexshaft until it engages the pin in the jackshaft.

RUDDER FORWARD QUADRANT - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure has two tasks. The first task gives you the instructions to remove the rudder forward quadrant. The second task gives you the instructions to install the rudder forward quadrant.
B. The procedure to remove the rudder forward quadrant has these basic steps:
(1)
Remove hydraulic power from the rudder.
(2)
Open the access panels.
(3)
Put a clamp on the control cables.
(4)
Remove the rudder forward quadrant.
C.
The procedure to install the rudder forward quadrant has these basic steps:
(1)
Install the rudder forward quadrant.
(2)
Adjust the tension in the control cables.
(3)
Do a test of the rudder forward quadrants.
(4)
Put the airplane back to its usual condition.

(1)
Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).
