If you use a used bolt or the bushings or the attached hinges, examine for the approved worn areas (AMM 32-14-06/601).

Install the outboard door.
(a)
Set the outboard door (6) for installation and install the bolts (3) and the washers (4 and 11).
(b)
Engage the minimum quantity of the nut (10) to install the cotter pin (9). 1) Use the minimum quantity of the washers to keep the
clearance of 0.01 - 0.06 inch below the nut.
(c)
Lubricate the hinge with grease.
(d)
Clean and install the bonding jumper (5) and the washers (2 and 8) on the inboard and the outboard bolts (see Fig. 401).
(e)
Align the linkage rod with the strut door attachment.
(f)
Install the bolt (15), the washers (14 and 16), the spacer (13), the bushing (12), and the nut (17).

(3) Adjust the outboard door of the shock strut for the body landing gear (AMM 32-14-00/501).

WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO REMOVE THE
_______ DOOR LOCKS FROM THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(4) Do this task: "Removal of the Door Locks on the Wing Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

BODY GEAR SHOCK STRUT OUTBOARD DOOR - INSPECTION/CHECK

1. General_______
A. This procedure has one task:
B. The examination of the hinge assemblies of the outboard door and the attached fittings of the linkage rod for worn areas.
C. You must remove the outboard door of the shock strut to do the
inspection.

Procedure

(1)
Remove the outboard door of the shock strut for the body landing gear (Ref 32-14-06/401).

Examine the worn limits of the hinge assembly of the outboard door, the linkage rod bolts, the bearings and the bushings.
(a)
Measure the parts if it is necessary and compare the measured dimensions to the limit dimensions.
(b)
If the part is not in the tolerance, repair or replace it when it is necessary.
