The safety bar is attached to the inside of the outboard door and to the inboard door. It gives the door opening if the hydraulic is unserviceable.

(1) Install the ground locks in all landing gear (AMM 09-11-00/201).

Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Body Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Remove the safety bar.
(a)
Remove two hinge pins (4) and lift the safety bar (1) from the outboard door.
(b)
If it is necessary, remove 4 bolts (8) to remove the slide pad (13) from the shoe (12).
(c)
Remove the bolt (7) to disconnect the shoe (12) from the safety bar (1).
