 A. This procedure has three tasks:
 (1)  
Remove the drag strut spindle of the body landng gear

 (2)  
Install the drag strut spindle of the body landing gear

 (3)  
Examine the drag strut spindle of the body landing gear for worn areas.

_______ GEAR. AN ACCIDENTAL RETRACTION OF THE LANDING GEAR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (1) Install the ground locks in all landing gear (AMM 09-11-00/201).

 WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO INSTALL
_______ THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (2)  Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Nose Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

 WARNING:_______THE UPPER DRAG STRUT WEIGHS APPROXIMATELY 120 POUNDS. MAKE SURE THE STRUT IS HELD SUFFICIENTLY BEFORE YOU REMOVE THE DRAG STRUT OR THE SPINDLE. INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN OCCUR IF THE UPPER DRAG STRUT FALLS.
