Decrease the pressure on the hydraulic system No. 1 (Ref 29-11-00/201).

WARNING: DECREASE THE PRESSURE ON THE ACTUATOR, THE LINES AND THE
_______ PRESSURE VALVE BEFORE YOU REMOVE THE RELIEF VALVE. THIS WILL PREVENT INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Open the bleed valve to decrease the pressure on the truck actuator, the lines and the pressure valve (Ref 32-13-15/401).

Remove the lockwire that hold the relief valve to the body of the pressure valve.

Loosen and remove the relief valve from the pressure valve.

Install the new O-rings and the backup rings on the relief valve.
(a)
Lubricate the O-rings and the backup rings with Skydrol lubricant during the installation.

Install the relief valve into the body of the pressure valve.
(a)
Lubricate the seals and the rings with the Skydrol lubricant.
(b)
Tighten the relief valve to 500 - 520 pound-inches and tighten the lockwire.

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL CONTROL
_______ SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THE AILERONS, RUDDERS, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THE THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS WILL CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Pressurize the hydraulic system No. 1 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Examine for the hydraulic fluid leaks around the relief valve.

Permit approximately 1 to 2 pints of fluid to flow from the bleed valve of the truck actuator.

Bleed more fluid if there are bubbles in the system.
NOTE: If the flow stops, hold the manual bypass lever in a up
____ position for 2 seconds to set the fuse (station 1480 bulkhead).

Close the actuator port.
