(5) S 864-042Lower the nose of the airplane with the jacks and remove the jacks (AMM 07-11-02/201).

1. General_______
A. This procedure has a task to examine the fit of the mechanical connections for the aft doors of the nose landing gear. These connections include the door hinges and the operator rod connections.
B. To do this procedure, you must remove the aft doors from the wheel well for the nose landing gear.

Examine the fit of the operator rods and the hinges.

Measure the parts at the locations shown in figure 601.
(b)
Compare the measured dimensions to the wear limits on figure
601.
(c)
If a part is not in tolerance, replace the part if you cannot repair it.
