NOTE: Monitor which edge aligns last when you decrease the
____ length of the linkage rod.
Extend the landing gear.
Adjust the linkage rod for the inboard shock strut door to the
the amount you determined is necessary to align the forward or
aft edge (which ever edge aligns last).
Retract the landing gear.
If the forward edge of the inboard door came into the correct
 adjustment last, do these steps:
 1) Find the necessary shim thickness at view G-G such that the

stop just touches the stop pad (Figure 505). 2) Extend the landing gear. 3) Install the shims and the stops at view G-G to adjust the
door the amount that you determined necessary (Figure 505). 4) Retract the landing gear. 5) Make sure the stop at view G-G (Figure 505) touches the
stop pad and the door stays in adjustment along the forward edge. 6) Find the necessary shim thickness at view B-B to put the
aft edge of the door into the correct fair (Figure 505). 7) Extend the landing gear. 8) Install the stop pad and shims at view B-B that you
determined necessary (Figure 505). 9) Retract the landing gear. 10) Make sure the door is in the correct fair along the forward
edge. If the aft edge of the inboard door came into the correct adjustment last, do these steps: 1) Find the necessary shim thickness at view B-B such that the
stop just touches the stop pad (Figure 505).

 J.  Adjust the forward doors to the aft Doors (Airplane on jacks) (Figure 505).
 S 825-106
 (1)
Do the steps that follow to adjust the forward doors of the body landing gear to the aft doors:

 (a)
Make sure the body landing gear is retracted and that all of the landing gear doors are closed.

 (b)
Find the necessary shim thickness to align the aft edge of the outboard door to the airplane structure and diagonal edge of the inboard door (View E-E, Figure 505).

 (c)
Extend the landing gear.

 (d)
Install the stop pad and shims at view E-E that you determined necessary to align the aft edge of the outboard door to the airplane structure and diagonal edge of the inboard door (Figure 505).

 (e)
Retract the landing gear.

 (f)
Make sure the door is in the correct fair along the forward edge. 1) Adjust the linkage rod for the inboard shock strut door if

necessary to get the correct fair.

 (g)
Make sure the stop at view A-A (Figure 502) has a clearance of

 0.002 to 0.054 inch.
NOTE: If the clearance is out of the tolerance, write the
____
 out of tolerance dimension.

 1)  If the clearance is not within 0.002 to 0.054 inch, adjust the linkage rod for the wheel well outboard door (Figure 503) to obtain the correct clearance at view A-A (Figure 502).

 (h)  With the clearance at view A-A (Figure 502) set between 0.002 -0.054 inch, shorten the linkage rod for the wheel well outboard door as follows:
 (i) (j) (k) (l) (m) (n) (o)  1) If the clearance at view A-A (Figure 502) is between 0.002 and 0.030 inch, turn the rod end fitting one-half turn to shorten the length of the rod. 2) If the clearance at view A-A (Figure 502) is between 0.031 and 0.054 inch, turn the rod end fitting one full turn to shorten the length of the rod.Retract the landing gear.Make sure that stop pad and view G-G and B-B are in contact with the stops (Figure 505). 1) If the either of the door stops do not touch the stop pad, shorten the linkage rod for the shock strut inboard door by one half turn at a time until the door stop contacts the stop pad.Make sure the aft edge of the shock strut outboard door is in adjustment. 1) If the shock strut outboard door is not in the correct fair, adjust the outboard door linkage rod to align the aft edge of the door (Views X-X, Figure 506).Adjust the aft outboard door stop at view C-C (Figure 505): 1) Find the necessary shim thickness that is needed at view C-C such that the stop pad just touches the door stop (Figure 505). 2) Extend the landing gear and open the landing gear doors. 3) Install the shims and stop pad at view C-C that you determined are necessary (Figure 505). 4) Retract the landing gear. 5) Make sure the stop at view C-C (Figure 505) touches the stop pad and the outboard shock strut door is in adjustment along the aft edge.Find the necessary adjustment to the linkage rod for the shock strut outboard door linkage rod to bring the forward and inboard edge of the door into adjustment.Extend the landing gear.Adjust the linkage rod for the outboard shock strut door the amount that you determined necessary.
