Adjust the forward doorstop bolts for the forward door:
(a)
Remove spring wire clip and loosen the doorstop bolts.
(b)
Close and hold the door with your hand in the door flushness tolerance shown (View A-A, Fig. 202).

Adjust length of forward door operator rod until bolt can be easily installed (don't install the bolt at this time).
(d)
Adjust the forward doorstop bolt until it touches the door with the door held in the flushness tolerance shown (View A-A, Fig. 202).
(e)
Open the door.
(f)
Turn the doorstop bolt one turn toward door.
(g)
Install the spring wire clip on the doorstop bolt.
(h)
Do these steps again for the other door.

Adjust the aft doorstop bolts for the forward door:
(a)
Remove the lower aft skin fairing from the left and the right side of the wheel well (Fig. 203).
(b)
Put the straightedge across the lower surface of the left and the right sidewall "tee" chords (View G-G, Fig. 202).
NOTE: This is at the aft end of the forward doors at
____ sta. 357.0. The door must be closed.
(c)
Adust the aft doorstop bolt until you get the dimension shown (View G-G, Fig. 202).
(d)
Do these steps again for the other door.

_______ DOOR OPERATION AREA. A FAST MOVEMENT OF THE DOORS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
1) Move the ground release handle to the door open position
(See "Ground Door Release Handle Open Operation"). 2) Disconnect the two operator rods from the doors. 3) Move the ground release handle to the door close position
(See "Ground Door Release Handle Close Operation").
4) Manually hold the doors against forward doorstop bolts and do the steps above again to adjust the lengths of the operator rods.
