(1)
Install the ground locks in all landing gear (AMM 09-11-00/201).

WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO INSTALL
_______ THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Nose Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Clean all bolts, nuts, washers and all bearing surfaces with solvent.

Examine the parts and the fittings for worn areas (AMM 32-21-05/601 and AMM 32-34-02/601).

Lubricate all bolts, washers and bearing surfaces before you install the parts.
NOTE: The torque in this procedure will be dry, unless the

procedure will specify a different torque.
F. Install the Drag Strut
S 494-027
(1)
Use a drag strut sling to hold the strut in its position.

(2)
Install the upper drag strut on the support fitting.
(a)
Install the pivot shaft (16) of the drag strut to attach the upper drag strut to support fittings.
(b)
Move the release shaft (13) of the emergency downlock into the downlock release shaft (14).
(c)
Set the two shafts into the pivot shaft (16) of the drag strut.
(d)
Install the actuator crank fitting (12) on the release shaft (13) of the emergency downlock.
(e)
Install the crank (12) with the lockbolt (19) and tighten the nut 30 - 40 pound-inches.
(f)
Install the downlock crank fitting (11) and the emergency downlock coupling (18) on the release shaft (13) of the emergency downlock.
(g)
Install the washer (21) and the castellated nut (22).
