WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO INSTALL
_______ THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Wing Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Body Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Remove the pressure from the hydraulic systems No. 1 and No. 4 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Procedure
(1) S 034-005Remove the downlock actuator (AMM 32-33-15/401).
(2) S 034-006Disconnect the hydraulic lines (8) from the hydraulic swivel (7). (a) Seal the lines and the fittings with a cap.
(3) S 034-007Disconnect the clamps from the brackets and remove the hydraulic lines from the strut.
(4) S 034-008Remove the electrical conduit clamps from the jury strut and the spindle bracket.
(5) S 034-009Remove the downlock sensors (12) and permit the conduit to stay with the sensors.

(6) Attach the conduit (11) and the sensors (12) to the airplane structure.

WARNING: REMOVE THE AIRPLANE WEIGHT FROM THE GEAR TO PREVENT THE
_______ ACCIDENTAL GEAR TURN FORWARD AROUND THE TRUNNION. THE TRUNNION WHICH WILL MOVE THE DRAG STRUT AND THE JURY STRUT INBOARD. THIS WILL CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
(7) Lift the airplane with jack until the wheels are clear of the ground (AMM 07-11-01/201).

WARNING: CAREFULLY MAKE SURE TO HOLD THE PARTS BEFORE YOU REMOVE ANY
_______ PINS. THE COMPONENT ASSEMBLY FOR THE DRAG STRUT WEIGHS APPROXIMATELY 330 POUNDS. IF YOU DO NOT HOLD THE PARTS, IT CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.

Attach the strong back to the drag strut and hold them with the hoist.

Disconnect the door actuator strut (2) and attach it to the body structure.

Remove the bolt (3) and the related components to disconnect the universal (1) from the shock strut.

Remove the nut and the washer from the jury strut spindle (9).
