(1)
Install the truck shield (Fig. 401):
(a)
Install the six bolts that attach the truck shield to the two forward brackets and one aft bracket.
(b)
Install the six bolts that attach the shield to the pull box.
(c)
If it is not easy to install the bolts, adjust the position of the pull box.
(d)
Connect the brake rod lanyards to the shield with the pin and the cotter pin.
(e)
Connect the hydraulic guides to the shield and the forward bracket.

WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO REMOVE THE
_______ DOOR LOCKS FROM THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(2) Do this task: "Removal of the Door Locks from the Wing Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).
