(14) Connect the cable connectors of the glide slope antenna to the mating connectors in the junction boxes.
NOTE:____J29: Connector D3203P and D3263P; J28: Connector D3205P.
(a) Install the lockwire.

Install the seal plates (View A-A, Fig. 403):
(a)
Extend the nose landing gear.
(b)
Install the seal plates on the forward edge of the aft doors.
NOTE: See the flagnotes in Fig. 403.

Do a check on the clearance of the seal plate:
(a)
Disconnect the operator rods (17) from the forward doors (View B, Fig. 401).
WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO
_______ REMOVE THE DOOR LOCKS FROM THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(b) Do this task: "Removal of the Door Locks from the Nose Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).
CAUTION: MAKE SURE THE WHEEL AREA ON THE LANDING GEAR IS
_______ CLEAR. FAILURE TO CLEAR THE AREA CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE THE EQUIPMENT.
(c) Move the control handle of the landing gear to UP position to retract the nose landing gear.

APPLY SEALANT BETWEEN ANTENNA AND NO. 1 RIB PRIOR TO INSTALLATION OF SEAL PLATE. SEALANT SHALL FILL CAVITY TO BE FORMED BY SEAL PLATE. AFTER INSTALLATION OF SEAL PLATE, APPLY SEALANT BETWEEN SEAL PLATE AND ANTENNA, BETWEEN SEAL PLATE AND NO. 1 RIB ALONG LENGTH OF SEAL PLATE AND AROUND ENDS OF SEAL PLATE
APPLY SEALANT AROUND AND COMPLETELY COVER NUT
APPLY SEALANT BETWEEN SEAL PLATE AND FORWARD EDGE OF RIB NO. 1 FLANGE ALONG LENGTH OF SEAL PLATE

Hold each forward door in its fully closed position with your hand.
NOTE:____Do not apply too much force to the door. If the clearance is not sufficient, you can cause damage to the seal plate.
(e)
Do a check of the clearance between the aft edge of the forward door, the flapper door, and the forward edge of seal plates.
NOTE: The minimum clearance must be 0.10 inch.
____ Do not adjust the doorstops.

Apply the sealant to the seal plate (View A-A, Fig. 403)
(AMM 51-31-01/201).
(a)
After you apply all sealants, apply a protective topcoat (X-310 Catalyst).

Move the control handle of the nose landing gear to the DN position.

Do a Final Check of the Door Operation.
