Set the hydraulic fuse for the tilt positioning (Fig. 401).
(a)
Hold the manual bypass lever in a up position for two seconds to set the fuse.
(b)
Open the actuator bleed valve.
(c)
Let approximately 10 cubic inches of fluid out to make sure to set the fuse.

Tighten the actuator bleed valve and the lockwire.

A. The swivel joints connect the downlock actuator to the hydraulic system. These swivel joints are at the junction of the upper drag strut and the drag strut spindle.
B. This procedure contains two tasks:
