WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY INSTALL THE GROUND LOCKS IN ALL LANDING
_______ GEAR. AN ACCIDENTAL RETRACTION OF THE LANDING GEAR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Install the ground locks in all landing gear (Ref 09-11-00/201).

WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO INSTALL
_______ THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Wing Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Deflate the shock strut.

WARNING: DO NOT REMOVE THE VALVE BODY UNLESS YOU DEFLATE THE SHOCK
_______ STRUT FULLY. THE AIR PRESSURE CAN BLOW THE VALVE BODY OUT AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
(a)
Remove the valve cap from the air valve at the top of the shock strut.
(b)
Remove the lockwire and loosen the outer nut two turns maximum.
NOTE: Fluid in the shock strut will have bubbles immediately
____ while you decrease the pressure to the ambient. Deflate the shock strut slowly to prevent the leakage of fluid through the air valve.
(c)
Put the tray that can hold 10 gallons below the oil valve.
(d)
A larger capacity tray will be necessary if you add oil to extend the strut.

Remove the oil valve from the outer cylinder and drain the fluid (Ref 32-21-02/301).
