 NOSE GEAR BULLNOSE ASSEMBLY - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General
_______
 A.  The bullnose assembly is installed below the upper tripod brace and shock strut trunnion. The bullnose assembly does as a baffle. It turns the airflow away from the nose gear when the gear is down and the gear doors are open.
 B.  The bullnose assembly has three parts, the right box assembly, the left box assembly and the forward deflector assembly. These must be disassembled during the removal operation.

 WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY INSTALL THE GROUND LOCKS IN ALL LANDING
_______ GEAR. AN ACCIDENTAL RETRACTION OF THE LANDING GEAR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (1) Install the ground locks in all landing gear (Ref 09-11-00/201).

 WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO INSTALL
_______ THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (2)  Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Nose Landing Gear" (Ref 32-00-30/201).
