E. Procedure
S 224-008
(1)
Examine the worn parts and the fittings for approved worn areas (Ref 32-14-02/601).
S 424-009
(2)
Install the outboard door.
(a)
Set the door (1) with the sling assembly for installation.
(b)
Install the bolts (5) and the washers (4 and 8).
(c)
Engage the minimum necessary quantity of the nut (9) to install the cotter pin (10).
NOTE: Use minimum quantity of the washer to keep the
____ clearance 0.01 - 0.06 inch below the nut.
(d)
Install the bushing (18) in the bracket as shown on detail C, Fig. 401.
(e)
Align the linkage rod with the bracket clevis.
(f)
Install the bolt (16), the washers (17 and 19), and the nut (20).
(g)
Use the washers (3) and the bolts (6 and 7) to install the bonding jumpers (2).
(h)
Align the actuator rod with the door clevis.
(i)
Install the bolt (11), the washers (14 and 15), the bushing (12), and the nut (13).

Install the safety bar of the wheel well for the body landing gear (Ref 32-14-03/401).

(4)
Install the inboard door of the wheel well for the body landing gear (Ref 32-14-01/401).

(5)
Adjust the outboard door of the wheel well for the body landing gear (Ref 32-14-00/501).
