Prepare for the adjustment

(1) Install the ground locks in all landing gear (AMM 09-11-00/201).

Make sure that there is no pressure in hydraulic systems No. 1 and 4 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Remove the actuator rod for the sequence valve that connects at the outboard wheel well door and the sequence valve mechanism.
NOTE: Keep the rod and the fasteners (View C, Figure 503).

Disconnect the electrical connector DM87 (LH) or DM88 (RH) from the uplock hook electric actuator for the body landing gear.

Adjust the wheel well doors for the body landing gear.
NOTE: The steps that follow are based on the wing gear doors being

correctly adjusted before you adjust the body gear doors.

(a)
Set the serrated fitting, which connects the linkage rod to the outboard door, to the middle position of the slotted holes.

Increase the length of the linkage rod for the inboard door to move the forward edge of the inboard door 0.10 inch (2.54 mm) out of tolerance with the ariplane contour (View A, Figure 503).
NOTE:____The door stop pads will not touch the stops. The nominal length of the linkage rod is 28.8 inches (732 mm) between the pin to pin centers of the rod assembly.
For the stops at views A-A and B-B, remove the shims and stop
pads, Figure 502.
For the stop at view C-C, remove the shims and stop pad, or
turn the stop pin to withdraw the pin into the fitting,
Figure 502.
Increase the length of the linkage rod for the outboard door,
to move the forward edge of the outboard door 0.10 inch (2.54
mm) out of tolerance with the airplane contour (View A,
Figure 503).
Adjust the outboard door:
1) Close the body and wing landing gear doors,
(do these steps when ever you will close the doors):

_______ TO REMOVE THE DOOR LOCKS FROM THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
a) Do this task: "Removal of the Door Locks on the Body Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF
_______ ALL CONTROL SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
