 2)  Adjust the linkage rod for the outboard door the amount you determined necessary to align the outboard door along the forward edge.
 3)  Close the body landing gear doors.
 4)  Determine the necessary shim thickness (View A-A, Figure 502) to set the stop at 0.002 - 0.015 inch
 (0.051 - 0.381 mm) clearance with the stop pad.
 (h) Adjust the inboard door:
 1)  Determine the adjustment to the linkage rod for the inboard door to fair the inboard door along the forward edge and inboard edge.
 NOTE: Find the mismatch at the stop (Views A-A and B-B,
____ Figure 502).
 2)  Move the ground release handle for the doors to the "Door Open" position to open the wheel well doors.
 3)  Adjust the linkage rod for the inboard door the amount you determined necessary to align the inboard door along the forward edge.
 4)  Close the body landing gear doors.
 5)  Determine the necessary shim thickness at view B-B, Figure 502) to set the stop so that is just touches the stop pad.

 6)  For the stop at view C-C, determine the adjustment that is necessary to bring the aft inboard edge of the inboard door into fair with the adjacent panel.
 7)  Move the ground release handle for the doors to the "Door Open" position to open the wheel well doors.
 8)  Install the shims and the stops at Views A-A and B-B to adjust the door to the amount that you determined is necessary.
 9)  For the stop at view C-C, install the shims and the stops to adjust the fair, or turn the stop pin, in or out, to get the adjustment you determined necessary and install the locking spring.
 (i)  Do the steps that follow to make sure the inboard and outboard door adjustments are correct: 1) Close the body landing gear doors. 2) Make sure the door mismatches at views A-A, B-B, and C-C
 (Figure 502) are in the tolerance. 3) Make sure that the stops touch the stop pads at view B-B and C-C (Figure 502). 4) Make sure there is a clearance of 0.002 - 0.015 inch
 (0.051 - 0.381 mm) between the stop and stop pad at view A-A (Figure 502).
 5)  Move the ground release handle for the doors to the "Door Open" position to open the wheel well doors.
 WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO
_______ INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (j)
