A. This procedure has three tasks:

The removal of the drag strut universal for the body landing gear (referred to as the drag strut universal).

_______ ACCIDENTAL GEAR TURN FORWARD AROUND TRUNNION. THE TRUNNION WILL MOVE THE DRAG STRUT/JURY STRUT INBOARD. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
(1) Lift the airplane until the wheels are clear from the ground (AMM 07-11-01/201).
