WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY INSTALL THE GROUND LOCKS IN ALL LANDING
_______ GEAR. AN ACCIDENTAL RETRACTION OF THE LANDING GEAR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1) Install the ground locks in all landing gear (AMM 09-11-00/201).

WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO INSTALL
_______ THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Nose Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Procedure

(1)
Make sure the airplane is empty (450,000 pound maximum) and in a hangar or in an open areas with light winds.

(2)
Remove the hydraulic power from the system No. 1 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

(3)
Lift the nose of the airplane with the fuselage jack until the dimension X on the NLG servicing chart (AMM 12-15-05/301) is approximately six inches (AMM 07-11-02/201).

(4)
Deflate the shock strut for the nose landing gear.

Remove the air valve cap.
