You can use the spare seals in the lower bearing of the shock strut for the seal leak repair. Use these spare seals for the first and the second seal replacement. The removal of the inner cylinder or other primary components are not necessary for these seal replacements.
D.
After you use up the spare seals, you must disassemble the shock strut for the subsequent seal replacement. You must fully remove the inner cylinder from the outer cylinder. New spare and new seals can then be installed in their lower bearing grooves. Put the MIL-H-5606 fluid on the edge of the replacement seals which have four marks at two location. And put the BMS 3-11 fluid on the replacement seals which has three marks.
