Move the control handle of the landing gear to the "DN" position.

Remove the rig pin (BD-1 LH, BD-2 RH).

Tighten the fasteners for the actuator rod for the sequence valve.
(w)
Tighten the bolts for the serrated fitting.

Adjust the outboard shock strut door and the inboard shock strut door (Airplane on Jacks) (Figure 505 and Figure 506).
NOTE: In this task you will extend and retract the gear many
____ times. The steps to do this are given in the beginning of this task. Use these same steps each time you are required to extend or retract the landing gear.

(1) Make sure that the ground release handle for the doors is in the "Doors Open" position.

(2) Make sure the door locks are installed, do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Body Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Disconnect the linkage rod for the outboard shock strut door from the shock strut.

Make sure the door and the linkage rod are held in the open position, out of the work area.

Put the ground release handle for the doors in the correct position:

_______ CONTROL SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a) Pressurize the hydraulic system No. 1 (AMM 29-11-00/201).
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT ALL PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE
_______ DOOR OPERATION PATH. IF YOU MOVE THE DOORS TOO QUICKLY, YOU CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(b)
Move the ground release handle for the doors to the "Door Closed" position.
(c)
Remove the hydraulic pressure from the system No. 1
(AMM 29-11-00/201).
