CAUTION:_______DO NOT LET THE TORSION LINK FALL. DAMAGE TO THE MOUNTING BRACKET OF THE SQUAT SWITCH CAN OCCUR.

Disconnect the apex bolt of the torsion link of the nose landing gear.
(a)
Push the button and pull out the quick-release pin from the apex bolt.
(b)
Loosen the apex bolt from the threaded bushing and pull it out.

Manually move the upper link (in the held position) through its arc.

Make sure there is sufficient clearance between the link and the P37 panel or the housing of the runway turnoff light.

Use the holding tool for the torsion link to hold the link until it is clear of the nose gear tires.
