WARNING:_______ YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO INSTALL
THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE
QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS
CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Wing Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Body Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Decrease the pressure on the hydraulic system No. 1 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

WARNING: REMOVE THE AIRPLANE WEIGHT FROM THE GEAR TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL
_______ GEAR TURN AROUND THE TRUNNION. THIS WILL MOVE THE DRAG STRUT AND THE JURY STRUT INBOARD AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.

Lift the airplane until the wheels are clear of ground
(AMM 07-11-01/201).

Procedure
S 032-007
(1)
Disconnect the downlock actuator (9) from the lower jury strut (8).
(a)
Hold the downlock actuator (9) to the upper drag strut (10) with the light rope (AMM 32-33-15/401).
S 032-008
(2)
Disconnect the downlock bungee (12) from the jury strut.
(a)
Attach the downlock bungee (12) to the lower drag strut (11) with the light rope (AMM 32-33-16/401).

(3) Hold the upper jury strut (13) with the sling.

WARNING: HOLD EACH STRUT SUFFICIENTLY AND INDEPENDENTLY BEFORE YOU
_______ REMOVE THE APEX BOLT. THE UPPER JURY STRUT WEIGHS APPROXIMATELY 35 POUNDS. THE LOWER DRAG STRUT WITH BUNGEE WEIGHS APPROXIMATELY 77 POUNDS. THE UPPER DRAG STRUT WITH THE ACTUATOR WEIGHS APPROXIMATELY 120 POUNDS. FAILURE TO HOLD THE PARTS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO PARTS.

Hold the upper and the lower drag struts independently with slings.

(5)
Manually hold the lower jury strut (8) and remove the apex bolt (5). for the drag strut.
NOTE: The lower jury strut weighs approximately 35 pounds.

(6) Remove the apex bolt (1) for the jury strut, the ground lockpin (AMM 09-11-00/201), and the lower jury strut from the airplane.
