1. General_______
A. This procedure has these tasks.
(1)
The removal of the drive-wheel assembly for nonretractable power drive units (PDUs)
(2)
The removal of the drive wheel actuator for nonretractable PDUs.
(3)
The installation of the drive-wheel assembly.
(4)
The installation of the drive-wheel actuator.

(1)
Remove the power drive unit (PDU) (Ref 25-57-01/401).

(2)
Loosen the axle bolt which attaches the drive-wheel axle to the actuator nut.
NOTE:____The axle bolt is in the drive-wheel axle. A grip ring will prevent the removal of the axle bolt.

Remove the four bolts (hex head) and washers from the bearing support assembly.

(4)
Hold the drive-wheel assembly while you remove the drive-wheel axle and the bearing support assembly.
