(12) For PDU 23R and PDU 24, make sure you can electrically operate the PDU from a local cargo control panel:
NOTE: The PDUs can be operated from more than one local cargo
____ control panel. This test gives instructions to operate the PDUs from only one of the local cargo control panels. Refer to AMM 25-57-00/501 for the full operational test of the PDUs from the other local cargo control panels if it is necessary.
(a)
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
(b)
Push the SYSTEM POWER ON switch momentarily at the master cargo control panel (M1).
(c)
Move the P29 ARMING-OFF/ARM switch to the ARM position at the local cargo control panel 22AR.
(d)
For PDU 23R, do these steps at the local cargo control panel 22AR: 1) Hold the LOCAL DRIVE switch to the AFT position. 2) Make sure the drive-wheel moves and stops at the 3-degree
clockwise position then turns in the aft direction. 3) Hold the LOCAL DRIVE switch to the FWD position. 4) Make sure the drive-wheel moves and stops at the 13-degree
clockwise position then turns in the forward direction. 5) Adjust the PDU limit switches if the drive-wheel did not stop at the applicable angular position (AMM 25-57-00/501).
NOTE: The angular position of the drive-wheel must be less
____ than |1.0 degree of the applicable angular position.
(e) For PDU 24, do these steps at the local cargo control panel 24L: 1) Hold the LOCAL DRIVE switch to the AFT position. 2) Make sure the drive-wheel moves and stops at the 16-degree
