On the 20 FT cargo control panel, push PDU 17/18 NORMAL/RETRACT switch to NORMAL position.
(f)
To transfer 20 foot container forward of side cargo door on left side, do the steps that follow: 1) On 20 FT cargo control panel, push LOAD and ENABLE
switches.
2) On the side door cargo control panel, hold DRIVE CONTROL switch to IN position and on 20 FT local cargo control panel (left or right) forward of the side cargo door, hold LOAD/AFT AREA CONTROL switch to LOAD position.

To move the 20 foot container laterally from left or right side, do the steps that follow: 1) On 20 FT cargo control panel, push LATERAL switch. 2) On 20 FT local cargo control panel (left or right), hold
LATERAL DRIVE switch in the momentary outboard position, until 20 foot container is positioned as shown in Fig. 4 (LATERAL TRANSFER).
(h)
To move the 20 foot container in or out of the aft area from left or right side, do the steps that follow: 1) On 20 FT cargo control panel, push AFT AREA switch. 2) On 20 FT local cargo control panels (left or right), put
AFT AREA CONTROL switches to AFT or FWD position, as applicable, until 20 foot container is positioned as shown in Fig. 4 (AFT AREA CONTROL).

(i) To move the 20 foot container from forward left side into side door cargo transfer area, do the steps that follow: 1) On 20 FT cargo control panel, push UNLOAD and ENABLE switches. 2) On the side door cargo control panel, hold DRIVE CONTROL switch to OUT position until 20 foot container is positioned as shown in Fig. 4 (UNLOAD ENABLE). 3) On 20 FT cargo control panel, push UNLOAD and ALIGN switches.
4) On the side door cargo control panel, hold DRIVE CONTROL switch to OUT position until 20 foot container is positioned as shown in Fig. 4 (UNLOAD ALIGN).
(j)
To move 20 foot container laterally out of the side door cargo transfer area, push 20 FT CONTROL ON/OFF switch to OFF position and hold DRIVE CONTROL switch on the side door cargo control panel to OUT position.
(k)
On the side door cargo control panel, push SYSTEM POWER STOP
switch to stop the system.Return Airplane to Normal
WARNING: A PERSONNEL SAFETY NET MUST BE INSTALLED ACROSS SIDE CARGO
_______ DOOR OPENING AT ALL TIMES, UNLESS AN APPROVED ACCESS STAND OR PLATFORM IS POSITIONED AT THE DOOR OPENING. ADEQUATE PRECAUTIONS ARE NECESSARY TO PREVENT FALLS. MAIN DECK COMPARTMENT IS 16 FEET ABOVE THE GROUND.
(a) Install personnel safety net across the side cargo door.
WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE AWAY FROM THE
_______ DOOR AND THE DOOR OPENING WHEN YOU OPERATE THE DOOR. FAILURE OF THE LIFT MECHANISM COULD CAUSE THE DOOR TO CLOSE QUICKLY WHICH COULD CAUSE INJURY OR DAMAGE.
(b)
Remove side cargo door safety strut, if installed, (Ref 52-32-16/401)) and close side cargo door (Ref 52-32-00/001).
(c)
Close the nose cargo door (AMM 52-31-00/201).
(d)
Remove electrical power if it is necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).
