(1) Lift and move each lockhead restraint in the inboard direction until the lockhead restraint release latch locks the restraint in the extended (vertical) position.
(a) Make sure the restraint lifts and locks smoothly.

(2) Push the lockhead restraint release latch in the inboard direction until the restraint unlocks and lowers in the outboard direction to the retracted (horizontal) position.
(a) Make sure the restraint unlocks and lowers smoothly.

1. General_______
A. One task is given in this section. This task is a visual inspection/check of the cargo restraining system located in the main deck cargo compartment. This task is to make sure that the cargo guides and restraints, which are necessary for the correct restraint of cargo units, are installed and will operate correctly.

(4) Install a safety net or barrier across the side cargo door opening to prevent falls.
