Push the CAUTION switch-light on the cargo control panel until it starts to flash.

Make sure the POWER DRIVE SYSTEM switch on the cargo control panel is in the OFF position.
E. Remove the ADEC Box

If installed, remove the two transport rollers above the ADEC Box to allow easy access to the ADEC Box attaching parts. If necessary, refer to AMM 25-53-24/401, Transport Roller Installation.

Remove the four screws which attach the ADEC Box to the roller tray. Save the screws so that you can re-install the unit later.

Disconnect the electrical connectors from the ADEC Box.

NOTE: The ADEC Boxes for the forward and aft cargo compartments have
____ different part numbers and are not interchangeable.

(1) For the forward cargo compartment, connect the electrical connectors to the receptacles on the ADEC Box as follows:
(a) Connect electrical connector DM9399A to receptacle A.

(b) Connect electrical connector DM9399B to receptacle B.

(2) For the aft cargo compartment, connect the electrical connectors to the receptacles on the ADEC Box as follows:
(a)
Connect electrical connector Dm9499A to receptacle A.
(b)
Connect electrical connector Dm9499B to receptacle B.

Install the ADEC Box to the roller tray using four screws.

If removed, reinstall the two transport rollers at the ADEC Box position. If necessary, refer to AMM 25-53-24/401, Transport Roller Installation.

Do an operational test of the cargo loading system

E. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

(1)
Remove the safety barrier (3PRE65B00040) from the opening of the cargo compartment if it is not necessary.
(2)
Close the cargo compartment door (AMM 52-34-00/001).

Remove the electrical ground power if it is not necessary
