A. General
(1) The tests that follow give a fast check of the operation for the cargo drive system in the main deck:
(a)
Nose cargo drive system
(b)
Side cargo drive system
(c)
PDUs 4 and 5 test
(d)
Local Drive System Test
(e)
P29th Pallet Position System Test
(f)
Remote Cargo Control System Test

(1) Make sure the applicable circuit breakers are closed and remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
On the P415 Power Distribution Center Right Panel
(b)
On the P34 Main Deck Cargo Handling Power Panel
(c)
On the P128 Main Deck Cargo Handling Power Panel
(d)
On the P129 Main Deck Cargo Handling Power Panel
(e)

(1)
Push SYSTEM POWER ON on the master cargo control panel to start the system.

Push ZONE SELECT CANCEL switch on the master cargo control panel.

(3)
With MAIN DRIVE joystick on the master cargo control panel to OFF, do a check of the local drive switch operation at each local cargo control panel:
(a)
Put the switch in AFT position, make sure that the applicable PDU's turn in the aft direction.
(b)
Put the switch in the FWD position, make sure the applicable PDU's turn in the forward direction.

(4) On the master cargo control panel, do the steps that follow:
(a)
Put the MAIN DRIVE joystick to LOAD.
(b)
Push RIGHT on the side selector.
(c)
Push ON and 10 FT to the STEERING CONTROL switches.

Do a check on the load mode of the MAIN DRIVE joystick at each local cargo control panel on the right side.
(a) Make sure all the PDU's included in this test operate correctly.
(6)
On the master cargo control panel, push LEFT on the side selector.

On the master cargo control panel, put MAIN DRIVE joystick to OFF, and side selector switch to RIGHT.

Do a check on the unload mode of the MAIN DRIVE joystick at each local cargo control panel on the right side.
(a) Make sure all the PDU's included in this test operate correctly.
