 A.  The master control station panel is on the very forward left side of the main cargo compartment. The panel has different type of control and lighting panels, and an interphone unit. Different instruction placards are attached to the panel. The panel is attached with quick release fasteners.
Main Deck Ceiling Panels (Fig. 3)

 A.  The main deck ceiling panels contains these type of panels:
 (1)  
The forward ceiling panels which are in the forward area. The panels contain lights, and access panels to get access to the wire bundles.

 (2)  
The transition ceiling panels which are aft of the forward ceiling panels. The panels

 (3)  
The decompression vent ceiling panels which are aft of the transition ceiling panels. The panels contain lights, access panels, and decompression vent assemblies.

 (4)  
The duct shroud ceiling panels which are on the left and right sides and aft of the decompression ceiling panels.

 (5)  
The smoke detection ceiling panels which are in between the duct shroud ceiling panels. The panels contain the smoke detection tubes along the center of the panels, lights, and access panels to get access to the control cables.

 6.  Insulation
__________
 A.  The insulation blankets in the main deck cargo compartment are attached between and over the body frames. The functions of the insulation blankets are to give thermal insulation protection, decrease noise, and prevent inner skin surface condensation moisture from leaking in the compartment.
 B.  The insulation blankets make an overlap with each other to control moisture drainage to the lower section of the fuselage in the lower cargo compartment, where the airplane drainage is given.
 7.  Aft Pressure Bulkhead Protective Panels (Fig. 4)

 A.  The protective panels on the aft pressure bulkhead are for damage indicator if any cargo moves aft and cause damage to the panels.
 B.  If the panels are damaged, you must do a structural inspection to examine the aft pressure bulkhead. The panels are attached with fasteners and cover strips and are easy to remove and install.
