DIRECTIONAL GUIDE PANEL - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General

A. This procedure contains these tasks:
(1)
A removal of the directional guide panel.
(2)
An installation of the directional guide panel.
B. The directional guide panel is on the centerline of the main deck cargo, at the body station 520.

2. Directional Guide Panel Removal (Fig. 401)

(1) Location Zone
813L No. 1 Main Door
B. Procedure
S 034-002
(1) Turn the bolts 90 degrees to the unlocked position at both sides of the panel.
NOTE: The placards at the panel edge show the locked position of

the bolts.

(2) Lift the directional guide panel and remove.

Make sure the bolts are in the unlocked position.

Put the directional guide panel in its position on the centerline of the airplane.
(3)
Make sure the shear studs are in the cargo tracks correctly.
