F. Side Cargo Drive System

To start the side door control in zones 2 and 3, push the four zone select side door control ZONE 2/3 LEFT/RIGHT on the master cargo control panel.

On the side door cargo control panel, do the steps that follow:
(a)
Push LEFT SIDE and RIGHT SIDE ENTRY DRIVE UNITS to ON.
(b)
Push NORMAL/RETRACT switches on the left and right side to RETRACT.
(c)
Make sure the PDUs 19L1/L2, 19R1/R2 retract below the ball-mat level.
(d)
Push NORMAL/RETRACT switches on the left and right side to NORMAL.

(e) Put DRIVE CONTROL joystick on the side cargo control panel to
IN.
(f) Make sure PDUs 19L1/L2, 19R1/R2 steer to 90-degree steering
angle and go back to the normal position.
(g) Make sure the IN TRANSIT light are off.
(h) Make sure the PDUs 19L1/L2, 19R1/R2 move in the drive in
cargo-ingoing direction.

(3) To do a check on the unload mode of the side door entry in the left
and right zones, do the steps that follow:
(a) On the side door cargo control panel, put MAIN DRIVE SELECT
switches to UNLOAD for the left and right side.
(b) On the local cargo control panels 18L and 18R, put MAIN DRIVE
joystick to UNLOAD.
(c) Momentarily hold the DRIVE CONTROL joystick to AFT on the side
door cargo control panel.
(d) Make sure the PDUs in the side door entry area steer to
0-degree angle and then to drive in unload direction.

(4) On the side door cargo control panel, put DRIVE CONTROL joystick to
OUT.

(5) Make sure the PDUs in the side door entry area steer to 90-degree
angle and then to drive in cargo-outgoing direction.

(6) To do a check on the load mode of the side door entry in the left
and right zones, do the steps that follow:
(a) On the side door cargo control panel, put MAIN DRIVE SELECT
switches to LOAD for the left and right side.
(b) Put the DRIVE CONTROL joystick on the side door cargo control
panel to FWD.

Momentarily hold the MAIN DRIVE joystick in LOAD on the local cargo control panels 18L and 18R.
(d)
Make sure the PDUs in the side door entry area steer to 0-degree angle and then drive in load direction.
G. PDUs 4 and 5 Test

(1) On the master cargo control panel, do the steps that follow: (a) Put AUXILIARY SELECT switch to ON (b) Put SIDE SELECT switch to RIGHT (c) Put the STEERING CONTROL switch to ON, AUTO, and 10FT

(2) On the auxiliary cargo control panel, do the steps that follow: (a) Push the UNLOAD and NOSE DR switches (b) Push the LEFT (P2B) switch to ON (c) Push the SEQUENCE 1 switch

(5) Make sure the steps that follow occur: (a) PDU 4L/R move to 90 degree counterclockwise position. (b) PDU 5L/R move to 90 degree counterclockwise position. (c) PDUs 4L/R and 5L/R turn right to left after they move to 90 degree counterclockwise position.
