B. The continuous side guide on each side of each cargo compartment serves for continuous guidance of ULDs in the longitudinal direction. It consists of individual guide assemblies connected by guide rails. Each of the guide assemblies is screwed to the aircraft structure.

Open the cargo compartment door (AMM 52-34-00/001).

WARNING: BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU ARE NEAR THE OPENING OF THE CARGO
_______ COMPARTMENT DOOR. INSTALL A SAFETY BARRIER (3PRE65B00040) ACROSS THE OPENING OF THE DOOR UNLESS AN ACCESS STAND IS AT THE DOOR. INJURY TO PERSONS CAN OCCUR IF THEY FALL THROUGH THE OPENING OF THE DOOR.
(3) Install a safety barrier (3PRE65B00040) across the opening of the cargo compartment door if it is necessary.
